Visiting 30A is a very popular summer and even winter attraction for people living in the south and the southeast US. So I put together the Top Activities in 30A that we found during our visit!

30A drives along the southern coast of the United States in the Florida panhandle. It\’s easy to get to and has some of the most beautiful white-sand beaches and blue water that you\’ll find in the States.

There are many different small beach towns along 30A and each has a bit of a unique feel. You’ll find this little slice of heaven on a map between Destin and Panama City Beach, Florida.

We visited the Seaside, Santa Rosa, Watercolor, and Rosemary Beach areas of 30A in Florida – so these are the areas I’ll be referring to the most.

Check out the Top Activities in 30A we found and enjoyed!

Shop the Rosemary Beach Farmer’s Market

Rosemary Beach Farmers Market

This farmers market is in the center of this small beach town and spans 30A as you pass through the quaint “European-esque” streets of Rosemary Beach.

If you aren’t staying in Rosemary, this is a great time to visit the local shops, grab a bite to eat, and walk the brick streets.

Some great vendors offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, paleo, keto food options, fresh produce, local meats, and local artisan goods!

Some of our favorites were Mr. Buscuits, Kneading Keto, Naturbaker, and Sunset Ranch.

Open Sundays from 9 AM – 1 PM

Visit Sun Dog Books and Records in the heart of Seaside

Sun Dog Books and Records in Seaside, Florida

I’m a sucker for local bookstores – and this one is independently owned, and has been in the heart of Seaside, Florida for more than 30 years!

It’s a two-story house with a great selection of books and a record shop on the second floor.

Watercolor Boutique Shops

We stayed in Watercolor and loved it. It is mostly a residential resort community, but they do have some great boutique shops with well-known and local brands.

There are several stores right on 30A that are worth taking a look at. We had some great finds here!

Spend a day at Grayton Beach State Park

Grayton Beach State Park is a state park in Florida and is open every day of the year from 8 AM – sundown.

Drive west on 30A from Seaside and you will drive right through Grayton Beach before you reach Blue Mountain.

Grayton Beach State Park is a great and affordable place to stay – with cabins available and camping. But, a daily entry fee is $5 per vehicle (2-8 people).

Activities range from kayaking (rentals available), fishing, swimming on the pristine mile-long beach (reserved only for Grayton Beach visitors), and hiking/biking the nature trails.

Catch a Yoga Class at Balance Health Studio in Santa Rosa Beach

Balance Health Studio is a locally owned business that offers yoga classes (some of the best you’ll find in 30A), functional nutrition, chiropractic, and acupuncture care!

It’s also right next door to the owner’s cafe – Prema Organic Cafe! This place is an amazing stop after your yoga class for a juice, smoothie, or coffee! All organic.

Kayak or SUP with Boathouse Paddle Club at Watercolor Boathouse

Open 7 days a week – Boathouse Paddle Club runs out of the Watercolor Boathouse and offers hourly rentals for kayaks and SUP, and they also offer exercise classes!

This lets you experience being in Watercolor and enjoy the beautiful Western Lake which sits in the middle of the Watercolor resort community.

Visit The Hidden Lantern Bookstore in Rosemary Beach

This is another great local bookstore gem that I found along 30A. Right in the heart of Rosemary Beach is The Hidden Lantern Bookstore, and even better…it’s right next door to Amavida Coffee!

Day of Shopping at Silver Sands Premium Outlets or Grand Boulevard in Miramar

Just a 30-minute drive west of Seaside is Miramar Beach. There is some great shopping here whether you are looking for some great deals or higher-end brands!

Catch some Live Music at AJ’s Grayton Beach

AJ\’s is a popular joint along 30A for food, drinks, and entertainment.

It seems there is always something happening here – but mostly good live music!

Enjoy Live Music, a Movie Night, or a Yoga Class at The Hub in Watersound Beach

The Hub is in Watersound Beach and is surrounded by great places to eat, but is known for nearly always having an event going on.

Most popular are the outdoor live music events, yoga classes, and family movie nights!

Watch the Sunset and Hear Live Music at Pescado’s Rooftop Bar in Rosemary Beach

Pescado\’s has a great rooftop bar and offers lunch, brunch, and dinner with a fresh seafood coastal menu. However, you have to be 18+ to enter for dinner.
